We are on the lookout for a talented and innovative Product Designer to join our Design and Development team in Hanoi, Vietnam. In this role, you will be responsible for designing the aesthetics, usability, and functionality of our products. Your primary focus will be on creating user-centric designs that enhance user experience and meet business goals.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of design principles, be proficient in design software, and have a track record of creating appealing and functional products. You should be a creative thinker who can translate user needs and business objectives into compelling designs.
What you’ll get to do…
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance and polish designs.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
Your experience should include…
- 4+ years of proven experience in product design.
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
You might also have…
- Experience in creating prototypes or highly detailed wireframes for complex web applications.
- A relevant degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
